Not a problem. 8)
I can report that all my AIR plugins have no issues running in Cubase Elements 13.
I'm not sure if you using 12 is part of the issue.

I really liked how the velvet 2 sounded in demonstrations. Is it the most realistic rhodes/wurli VST these days
All the AIR instruments sound really great, Hybrid, Vacuum Pro and Loom II are some of my favorite softsynths of all time and yes Velvet sounds amazing. For that reason those older AIR plugins are literally the only VST2 plugins I have on my system.
They most likely will never be upgraded to VST3 as AIR decided to release newer more modern plugins instead of updating these older ones.

Nice. I have tried two different DAWs so far, I can try another one if there is one I can install for free. If it was an issue with my cubase software, why doesn't it run in the other DAW? My guess is that there is something else going on.

Has someone installed AIR plugins recently?

I'm happy that you enjoy the VST 2.4 AIR plugins. I have alot of plugins VST3 and 2 and they work fine. However, AIR not updating these plugins while selling them on the market does not inspire confidence in them, the plugins and the company. I would avoid this company. It wouldn't be that bad if it was clear that your are buying plugins that are abandonware.

It works in Windows 11.

Install from the latest AIR installer. They were once updated in 2021.

Try updating iLok License Manager to the latest, and restart the computer (important sometime).
https://installers.ilok.com/iloklicense ... rWin64.zip

Install old Visual Studio x64 Runtimes.
If I remember correctly, old AIR plugins use 2005 and 2008, which is not always installed to modern Windows.

By the way, isn't it Diana kitten? :)

i got 3 AIR plugins free with MPC Beats. I think you might still be able to do that. It took forever to get the AIR stuff installed and working. I finally figured out how to access them directly in Logic Pro and they are excellent sounding. Most companies in 2024 have the worst installation instructions and processes I've seen in 20 years. Far worse than the Roland manuals in the 80's when no English speakers wrote all the manuals....

Thanks for the help.

That's were I originally got them from.

ilok tells me I have the newest version installed. Should I still reinstall it?

Installed 2008. Didn't work but I'm going to restart next. Restart did not help.

The error message is about "32 bits" plugins, not VST2 plugins.

Download the "64 bits" versions and it should fix the problem...

I have these 3 plugins, no problem.
But aren't the "_x64.dll" files 64 bit? Are you using cubase?
You are right I did not notice that in your image. Sorry.

I do not use Cubase but I have these plugins and several others from AIR ( also bought at a discount on Plugin Boutique ) currently installed in Ableton, Reaper and Waveform. All working fine in Windows 11. Registered in the "software" version of iLok.

About the Microsoft runtime, since these are older plugins (2015) you may check if you have 2015 and earlier runtimes installed.

Run iLok License Manager, can you see the license status of those AIR plugins?

I checked which version of VC Runtime is needed for AIR. It's indeed 2005 :)

I'm going to look into it.

It is listed as 'Air Power Pack (3)' > Hybrid; Mini Grand; Velvet

It says

Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable (x64)
The specified account already exists.

Sorry no real help here. Those are still very good plugins I hope you get em working.

On a side note can I use Moon Puss as my next project name?

That one is already taken so you have to choose another one.

I still haven't recieved any response from plugin boutique. Now I have requested a refund. Since this is seemingly handled by the same team, I am afraid they might ignore me again. Wish me luck.

All AIR plugins work for me in MuLab on windows 11.

I have found that although Roland VST3 works in reaper, they don't work in MuLab. Although I can't make any comment as to why, I believe it may be that some plugins require some sort of tinkering to get them running how they should. Who knows?!

That's officially a Roland issue, this has been confirmed by Steinberg!
The Roland plugins also fail in Steinbergs' VST3 Validator.
It has been reported to Roland but until now they did not yet resolve it.
The more users report this to Roland, the bigger the chance Roland will take it serious.
