Hello All,
Can anyone recommend a book that goes into detail on audio editing, post-production and mastering? The Acoustica users manual does a good job of explaining how to use the software, but I am looking for more information on theory - why you would use various tools and what tools are best suited for different issues. For example:
-how to adjust the loudness of an audio file so different files have the same loudness
-why and how to use dithering and noise shaping
-what is side chain filtering and why would it be used
Thanks in advance!
