Evolution strawberry- root note of chord does not play all the time

Hi

Looking for some help with the strum and chords engine for strawberry. I can get it to play the chords I want to the pattern I want but when it changes chord it often misses out the root note of the chord on the first drum of a change and it reall sticks out as the next strum it plays the root note. Any idea how to get it to play the root every time?
Also when I duplicate a track to pan one side left one right it seems to not play sections correctly and goes quiet - any ideas why this is? Sorry it’s hard for me to explain this clearly!
