I went ahead and bought a few kits and while they really sound great, I'm having trouble finding just the right kit for my 70's prog rock project.

I can afford only one more and I'm considering either the vintage funk or vintage folk. I already picked up the 70's Slingerland and Hayman but they don't quite do it. The third I bought, Gretsch Round Badge is much closer but has no control over individual drums...only the mics.

The sound sources I'm using for this project are:

Ivory 2- piano
Modo-bass
Organ-AS B-5 II
Mellotron -Mtron Pro
Synths-Omnisphere 2
Guitar-Taylor 810

There is no electric guitar in this particular project with the piano being the main instrument. This may be why I'm having difficulty getting the right kit. My reference for this mix would be Selling England by the Pound Era Genesis.

If I had to guess, I think the Vintage Funk would be the best but then I guess twice before and missed so.....

Any suggestions?
