A few weeks ago I posted a track to ye old Facebook. Some of the responses suggested that the music I was making would benefit from the addition of guitars. It is at this point where a guitarist called Mesh contacted me and suggested we collaborate and see where it led. Well ladies and gentlemen we are pleased to provide you with Desert Duster for your listening pleasure.

All synths you hear came from Omnisphere, drums from Stylus RMX.

Well, I believe guitars are the icing on the cake.
Nicely built composition, good melodies, fine synth sounds.
I enjoyed it

Cheers

Thank you Laguna Rising.

This track is turning into marmite, some like and some are not so sure :hihi:

Only making this comment because of the implied question in the op: I don't think the guitar adds anything to the track.
However...
I think you done a fine job here. My only criticism is that I'd like to hear that Thin Lizzy/Wishbone Ash dual guitar thing with the guitar. I just luv harmonies!
Well done :tu:

I really like this. The addition of the guitar works well except when it first comes in it sounds a little mutted or something until it goes up higher in the register. Maybe it could use some EQing or effect for a brighter sound right there.

Cool song and composition. The omni2 instruments and rmx drums sound thin and squashed as expected.
The guitar was nice but had a mid-bassy tone that did not sit too well IMHO.
