So - here's my track this month.. A homage to video games and horror movies of the 80's this time..
Big thanx to all you who have shared tips on how to get this cool FM synth to play along.. It's been a huge help!

https://soundcloud.com/subject36/sweet-halloween-2016

Made in Logic Pro X
22 instances of Digits used (no problem with CPU at all)

Logic FX:
16 Channel EQ
1 Single Channel Eq
16 Compressor
3 Limiter
6 Gain (use this for helping out with automating gain)
2 Overdrive (with gentle distorsion for saturation)
1 Stereo Delay
1 Tape Delay
2 Pt Verb
1 Autofilter

External FX:
6 Bitter Sweet
2 Audio Assault Transient
3 Ignite Amps PTEq-X
1 Softtube Saturator

Best of luck to you all! :)
Analogue and digital alike - inside and outside the box. All good music is done with passion and love, not religious convictions!

Here's my submission. I tried various things to incorporate the ipad version but gave up and uploaded this random 40 minute jam using Liine Lemur with Digits vst.
No drums, I hoped maybe someone might like to sample and remix some part of it.
It's 130 BPM.
There's a video clip of it also, for some reason, which originally I was trying with the ipad version, but it proved to be far too tedious. If only Ableton supported h264 video clips.
After struggling with the ipad version, I just didn't have the patience to edit anything, so I hope you all enjoy some parts of this.

Ableton 32bit
32 digits in one instrument rack.
Native - eq, compressor, auto filter, reverb, delay, limiter.

I found the vst to be surprisingly efficient in this context. 32 digits with a very low cpu hit. Thanks for the links and knowledge everyone.

40 minutes? wow... I think 30-ish was the record before this one

Not that I would in any way disqualify for this, but is this still available freely somewhere after Apple swiped Camel Audio?

@z.prime,

I could possibly get it to you

Didn't think about it, but I guess it still is. I know I still have the installer since Apple bought them. Also thought I'd clarify. "Every Delay" meant Ping Pong, Simple, and Filter. Not Grain Delay since it's samples.

Guess I've done this long enough that some of my go-tos are becoming legacy. :( I haven't found a good free replacement for Crusher.

I've seen Camel Crusher a lot on older OSC beats - seems to have been (and still is) very popular.
What is it about it that makes it so?

It's a good sounding distortion, and free. Only thing now is, it's not provided by a company anywhere...

'bout time! ;)

Digits sounds so dirty it was appropriate to dive into a pile of early 2000s underground DnB promos. This one even had a multimedia track!

( ;) 117 instances of Digits. All filter movement inside the synth. I'll put up a Soundcloud link and more info before the end of the month.)

All that stalking and leaving horse heads on your pillow only seemed to fuel your creativity, it seems...
