I'm on the hunt for free or cheap stereo effect plugins. I stumbled upon Melda, Voxengo, and PSPaudio plugins and I'm wondering if anybody can recommend any others.
I would like to find some that rival Eventide's harmonizer plugins.

this one doesn't rival any harmonizers, but it's great for broadening your stereo field. And it's free:

Get it cheaper at other online stores.
At AudioDeluxe it is:
Eventide Quadravox $49.00
Coupon Code Applied: SEPT2016 -$5.31
Subtotal: $43.69
JRRShop and others might have it cheaper.

Nice! Looks like I missed out on Eventide's discounted H3000.
Nice list BTW. I think I've stumbled on that before. I'll have to check out those plugins.

As it's not mentioned yet get a copy of Computer Music and you get several decent instruments and effects from CM Vault.

This doesn't have to do with a stereo plugin but I am going by your subject title.
If you need a compressor for processing vocals, get the Vocal King plugin. I absolutely love this beast. it's on sale for $9.99 right now until 10-1-16. I got it when it first came out. It is cheap on CPU and IMO sounds just as good if not better than waves vocal processor as far as the compression part. It's super easy to use and easy to get vocals to stand out in the mix.
here is a link http://www.jhudstudio.com/paid-plugins Check it out.
It works very good on vocals and I used it on bass, claps, snares and other instruments too which also sounded good.

Free...I wish it was but keep an eye out for Iris 2 from Izotope. You might find a cheap second had license somewhere out there. Check out the videos to see what I'm talking about. I have used this plugin to discover some extremely complex sounds that would otherwise be impossible to synthesize with a standard synth or think of on my own. For instance, take sample of a motorcyle revving at a steady 6-7k rpm and modulate that sound. You can also tune the sound to make a synth from that sound. Just think multi-layer super sampler.
...and the electron responded, "what wall?"
