You're wrong. :D http://www.kvraudio.com/product/synth1-by-ichiro-toda It's a beta, but it's available.
Cool to hear that I'm wrong! it seems to be in beta since.... a long time!?
I guess so. For the Windows version, it also says "beta", but, as far as i'm concerned, it's stable. I never witnessed a bug really. It's quite a solid plugin.

The only free ones I use are below, so obviously my top 3(in a complete random order)

1. SQ8L - SQ80 Emulation
2. Dexed - DX7 Emulation
3. Grace - Sampler.

Other cool ones available for free that I know of...

4. TS-808 - Very good for free TR-808 emulation
5. Venom VB-303 -TB-303 Emulation
6. Oxe FM - 4op FM
7. Tyrell N6 - Good Virtual Analog
8. PG-8X - A free poly synth based on the JX-8P
9. U-no-62 - Based on the Juno 60
10. Bassline - SH-101 Emulation

and just to squeeze in one more

11. PPG Wave 2.2 / 2.3 http://www.hermannseib.com/english/synt ... avesim.htm

Uups... i really like it and bought the full version (on a sale) shortly after i tryed the Mikro version. One of my favourite tools for organic but from another world timbres. There are not so much tools where you can get such lively sounds with so less effort.
