I didn't have to re-authorize. I actually like the new contrast better. I'm not seeing the reactive meters in 3D anymore. I haven't tested it to see if they react. But I don't really like that feature anyway.

Here you go. Here's a screenshot of the new version (reduced image in size).

How are people getting the update? I went to the iZotope site but it seems it wants me to go through the entire process again, even though I'm logged in.

Strange - I haven't updated DDLY yet but if I open the Settings inside the plugin and click on check for updates, it says there's none available...

interesting that you can check for updates from within the plugin. Wouldn't it be much more retro - and therefore rewarding - if you had to just check the support section of their website manually ? or better yet, email them.

just how dedicated are they to this retro premise ? not enough as far as I'm concerned!

You should have to send in a paper check to pay for the update which comes on a floppy disk...eventually.

hahaha

How about we post a self-addressed, return stamped envelope to iZotope to join the Monthly DDLY Fanclub Newsletter. If we're gonna go oldschool retro, might aswell harken back to the world before the World Wide Web :D

Really? Sorry, I didn't know that. I was logged-in, at the time.
[aside] ...now that I watched most of them, they are pretty basic, really.
I would say the coolest part "revealed", is that the horizontal slider on the left, (that moves the 'line' up and down the waveform), "morphs" between the upper and lower "settings". But, that becomes 'self-evident'.
