Tone2 will release Icarus - 3D WaveTable Synthesizer

I hesitate to purchase ICarus for its sampling capabilities, seem to be unique, do you guys confirm ease of use as stated in the Tone2 demo video ?

it works for me, obviously it's not a sampler or a granular synth... nor it was designed to be, it can do what is does well imo

the best thing you can probably do is download the demo and see how sampling works, you can use samples, loop them or turn samples into wavetables, it does tune automaticaly and it has diferent modes but some pre-editing should be done ...

It seems that all their 'new' synths are 1 size only for the time being. Gladiator3 has 2 sizes, since v.3.x, which is neat. However, they didn't announce anything like that for their other synths
