Guess I must have won an Oscar because all I can say is 'thenk yew, Ah aim speechless'

In proper English: thanks again, Simon, and also thanks for adding that scrollwheel trick. I cannot remember having read that in the manual.
So I wonder how many surprises and easter-eggs are still hidden in this outworldly synth...

Can't help it, but the way the phonemes are represented always reminds me of dancing little blue ghosts in a puppet theatre.

I have enjoyed many of your video's, and I also enjoy this one a lot. Once the structure of Phonem is grasped, it becomes a unique tool, and a very inspiring one.

And now suddenly I get a message that the Phonem plugin is corrupted and cannot be used.
Nothing strange happened last time I used it.
I shut down Cubase, even restarted my puter, but the message returns, out of thin air.

Never experienced something like that before...

this can happen when something is changed on your computer, like OS update or HD configuration change etc.

please contact the support, so we can help you.

Thanks.
But I managed to solve it by fully uninstalling Phonem and reinstalling and reactivating it.

Thing is that I have disabled updates of Win7 (I do not want to be forced to Win10) and that nothing has changed hardwarewise.

Now that this is explained, I want to apologise for disliking the manual. Now that I grasp Phonem, I also grasp the manual and realise it was not the content but my difficulty with its structure. If the writer of the manual has read my reaction, please tell him this.

Btw: Phonem works great with the KeithMcMillen QuNexus.

I picked up Phonem last night and put this crazy piece together out of presets. it uses 12 instances of Phonem.

Here is a short experiment using Phonem to "sing". what I like about Phonem is that it's not an accurate vocal synth but provides a vocal-like quality that then allows for a huge diverse and interesting range of sounds with a familiarity to them, being based on human voice.

If have some questions, if I may...

1. What is the difference between Wave Generator and Wave Mapper? (I've read what I can but still don't see what the difference is)

2. How do you use either with Phonem? Is there a detailed demo somewhere or is this left to the enterprising user to figure out?

3. Can the iPad versions of Wave Generator and Wave Mapper be used to export what is needed to work with Phonem?

thanks!
