I posted a new thread as the KVR search engine did not find this one, then the developer himself guided me here, so I'll post my post again.

Strangely I couldn't find an existing thread about this very capable resonator plug-in, so here is one. I worked with it for some hours today and just made the video below. Would be great to have an LFO inside the plug-in and/or an envelope follower to modulate a few things, other than that I really like it.
Processing a field recording I made in Seoul at the old palace some years ago (drums, soldiers shouting, some crowd noises) with the Tritik Moodal resonator, stepping though the presets I made for this plug-in, tweaking a few things here and there.

Thanks Simon!

Simon's presets will soon be included in the installers, but they can already be downloaded separately here

edit : Simon's presets are now installed along with the factory presets when using the installers

Nice. It's always suprised me there wern't more user presets available for this one.

Thank you, interesting presets.

Just now flipping through Simon's new presets. I'm really enjoying these. That "E-Bell"! O:

Thanks Simon! :D

Moodal is one hell of a resonator. Sounds from a deep rusty iron tank to some liquid melting metal.

No idea what it's not discussed & mentioned more... Very underrated. A shame.

Cheers, Brian.

Concerning the E-Bell preset and the other tuned patches I made -> for working with Moodal or tuned comb-filters/bandpass/lowpass/highpass filters (which follow the chromatic scaling), here is a chart with absolute Hertz-frequencies related to pitches, I have something similar always open when programming synths and effects.

Live on video: processing some ocean water I recorded at the Baltic Sea, first with Moodal and the output of Moodal with TKDelay.

Yes, feel free to PM me if you have some nice presets that you are willing to share. I could add them here :

Will Moodal be updated with more features? Maybe a version 2 or pro version? With added features like key tracking, modulation options, and maybe the ability to analyse audio spectral content and extract the resonances?

I think a significant omission for this great plug it's lack of freeze or at least significant increasing of decay time.

Freeze would be nice. It's such a unique plugin, one of a kind. I would love to see it get updated with more features. More options to mangle the order of the resonances in general.

Unfortunately, there is little hope. I did that mentioned request long time ago, but nope.
