Especially going so far as to run it on a separate computer, I dunno, I like it but not that much, lol.quantum7 wrote:Luckily for me OP-X Pro II works acceptably with j-bridge in Cubase 8 Pro......but c'mon, in 2015 it is unacceptable to not have a 64-bit version.

I just got a really cool email this morning from the OP-X Pro II developers.... You are going to like the new news!!!braj wrote:I have finally come to the realization that there likely never will be a full 64 bit version of most Synthedit-based synths, so after crashing jBridge for the last time hopefully, I am trying to say goodbye to bridged plugins.
By far one of my favorite synthedit-based plugins has been OP-X Pro II. So what can replace it? would SEM V be up for it?

Sorry to bump an old thread, but any idea when OP-X Pro-II 64-bit Windows version will come out of beta?

I'm contemplating whether to get this VST or some else (looking for VA vst). The demo's audio breaks make it hard to test the synth's capabilities (it's my first time programming OB-X style synth so trying to get most out of this vst's demo is proving to be troublesome). Maybe it would be good idea to provide longer intervals between the audio breaks?

I say, just get it. It's one of the best synth emulations out there. The UI could be improved, but the sound is right up there. It's a great emulation of a classic. Other synths I'd consider are, anything by Xils, Oddity 2, impOSCar 2, or maybe pick up Repro-1, knowing they'll be a great Repro-5 deal soon.SiliconDeath wrote:I'm contemplating whether to get this VST or some else (looking for VA vst). I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but I seem to be getting more pleasing sounds with the OBXD than with OP-X Pro II demo
EDIT: I think I'm going for Xils VCS4
