UPD: Update v1.1 released for Tantra, more information here: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 1#p6228501
Hello all! Today I'm proud to introduce to you Tantra, a new rhythmic multi-effect plugin, released by Dmitry Sches:
Let me describe main features of Tantra in short. The idea is simple. The plugin transforms input audio into rhythmic sequences. For that cause, Tantra provides 8 complex modulators and series of effect modules. Here is an audio demo, which best of all shows possible use cases of Tantra:
https://soundcloud.com/dmitry-sches/tantra-audio-demo
In the demo you will first hear a "dry" unprocessed sound clip, followed by two variations of Tantra's presets, nothing except for 1-2 instances of Tantra is applied.
The demo versions and more information can be found here:
http://dmitrysches.com/tantra
Availability: AU/VST versions for Windows and OSX, 32 and 64 bit versions for both platforms
Demo version limitations: noise sample is played every 90 seconds, everything else is fully working
Price: $69, excluding VAT. Introduction price is $49 until May 22, 2015
Thanks everyone for your interest,
I hope you will have fun with Tantra!
ADD. Here is some information about the first v1.01 update, which solves GUI size issues for low resolution screens.

Wow, this is very interesting
To get my head around it I'm trying to think of plugs it can be compared with, is it wrong to think of The Mouth?:

sounds like the love child of two of my favourite plugs - camelspace and stormgate1 (neither of which are long for this world)
looks lovely also
thank you for the extended intro pricing. it seems like a no-brainer, but i need to wait a few weeks
will demo this weekend

I would compare it with effectrix, looperator, turnado, camelspace, molekular, and even the free diversionFX. The mouth is sort of an oddball effect
Im a sucker for these sorts of things, definitely going to have give it a good run through

One of its selling point is that feed it a vocal sample or a regular sample and you can create a drum rhythmezelkow1 wrote:The mouth is sort of an oddball effect
When I saw this above "[Tantra] transforms input audio into rhythmic sequences" got me thinking about The Mouth

Demoing it. Right off the bat it needs support for triple time: 3/4, 12/8, etc.
It looks and sounds GREAT though. Reminds me of Audio Damage BigSeq but perhaps more tweakable with the envelopes.
EDIT: Nevermind, I noticed you can change the loop length. That's good enough

I thought the plan was to bring out a full version, also on Mac. I hope this isn't it.Numanoid wrote:It was just a CM freebieaMUSEd wrote:What happened to Diversion FX?
