You don't like Mastodon's "Crack The Skye" album? That is thee Mastodon album. I can't get into their older or newer albums. They toured with Tool for that album.

threshold is my favourite prog metal band. hard, yet very melodic. i love that they are fantastic instrumentalists but (not like dream theatre) that the performance of the band as a whole is always the most important aspect.
