When you create a project inside omnisphere to recall presets where are they kept on the hardrive? In the patch browser there is an option to create projects to save patches in then and option to show projects right. I transferred systems but the created projects are no way to be found. Sorry for the thread highjack but maybe someone can help me real quick.

(From memory) if you go to your steam folder, they are two or three levels in - patches / user. I'm forgetting a level I think... If you find steam it shouldn't take long to find them, anyway.

Apologies - I re-read your post and realised its about user projects not user patches. I'm afraid I don't know as I've never used projects. Could be worth dropping Spectrasonics a support question for this, there's nothing obvious I can see.

Huh - just had a crazy idea about the size of Omni vs not having finished pruning the soundsources. There was a Spectrasonics tweet yesterday hinting that there will be a USB delivery option on Omni 2's release. Hen I thought - "oh yeah, original + new content = 64gb - the magic figure for a USB stick". Except that doesn't work - you get about 59gb of space on a 64gb stick, don't you?

Ah well. A nice delivery option for those buying new, anyway.

EDIT - early morning maths brain has gone fuzzy - the total size of Omni 2 should be 54gb, not 64gb. Could have sworn I read 64gb somewhere... Still, ignore post, except the USB delivery bit.

Omnisphere + Trilian + updates = 77.8GB after install.

Installing from disk is a nightmare takes me all day. A 64 MB USB stick costs around £15 in England. They are still slow but less manual work.

USB 3 sticks are pretty good in my experience - I'd guess that's what it will be.

Now I've properly woken up, there's still a little wriggle room between 54gb and 59gb to have added a few more soundsources at the last minute.

I'm not sure if you're saying this, but you can get 128GB and larger USB sticks. (Your post above seems to me to imply that 64GB is the largest you can buy, otherwise whether Omni 2 takes 59GB or more is irrelevant.)

Actually you can go up to 1TB would you believe ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/HyperX-DataTrav ... +usb+stick ). But of course they might have factored cost of the dongle into their RRP, so I'm assuming they'd want to fit it onto a 64GB drive. It's all wild speculation of course, all this could be totally irrelevant.

Anyone know if we will be able to import our own Wavetables? It wasn't entirely clear but I got the idea that we would be locked into whatever ships with Omni.

That's a no for this version. Still, 400 morphing wavetables ain't too shabby.

Yeah still its quite alot of stuff to play with :tu:

Its not a game breaking feature for me to have that. It would be nice that's all.
