In 2009 when I decided to get into creating music I searched the internet for my first Synth’s and after researching a lot of them I decided on H.G. Fortune’s Synth’s as my first ones. I love the quality and the sound they produce. He will be in my thoughts as I create more music with his Synth’s as I credit him for getting me started.
Thank you very much for your hard work and creativity Guenter. You will be missed.

This is such sad news! My sincere condolences to his family and friends..his passing is such a great loss, both on a personal level for those who were close to him, as well as the music community in general. As I said elsewhere today, I cut my ambient musical teeth on his software..and I still use it today, as it fills a very unique place in my production process. Likewise, I know others who, like me, started out using Guenter's instruments and use them to this day.
Rest in peace, Guenter..the world is less without you, but it's music is all the better for you short stay here with us.

Many years of enjoyment with HGF synths. He will be missed, but his creations and contributions will live on.
You need to limit that rez, bro.

“Do you not know that a man is not dead while his name is still spoken?”
― Terry Pratchett, Going Postal
I think we can say "a man is not dead while his creations are still played."
Very sad indeed.
I wonder if we can buy his instruments (and the proceeds go to his family)?
Best regards,
Dax.

so sad to learn of his passing late last year! i hope the pro versions of synths like Astral Dreamer will go on sale again for his legacy and for his family's benefit.
