Great work here my friend! I always love hearing new music from you - you are on your own style, really pushing boundaries and incorporating some great synth elements.

Good work on the punchy drums bro - looking forward to more. Cheers!

Hey, thanks for listening to my soundcloud. So i decided to check your music here and i was wondering, how do you get that punchy drum? I'm liking the futuristic flow track.

hey xamido,

thanks for checking out my tracks. which exact beat are you talking about in your inquiry?

The mix is good, the sound design is good. I feel like the song (or beat, but presumably it'd eventually become a song) should have a little more of a defined direction, though. There are some variations, but they don't seem to follow a pattern, and the same synth melody recurs throughout almost the entire thing. Even a short changeup at the end would be cool and add some distinguishing features to the track. All in all, good work.

Beats are solid. Fairly minimal, which is ok, but maybe rare these days.

But question is, with ~400 followers, 4 tracks over three years, and only 1 repost, how did you get 16K plays?
Where you dropping your links at?

A lot of my links come from forums having my soundcloud player in my signature. I have an unlimited membership on soundcloud so i know exactly who is checking my beats out and where from, specifically the links. Futureproducers, gearslutz, mac forums in addition to logic forums. Then there is also twitter, tumblr and facebook. I send these links to my friends who send them to friends and if they like them (in this case they have), then they go semi viral. I have also added my tracks to "groups" on soundcloud that get me plays. I'm not sure that many people are familiar with this. You're able to join groups on soundcloud and add your tracks accordingly. Those that are joined to that group see your tracks and give them a shot by playing them.

I truly believe that having soundcloud players in your sigs in addition to dropping the players in feedback sections on forums help significantly. Now a days, a lot of people are lazy and clicking a player is much easier than clicking a link to a site....then clicking the player.

If i was fortunate to get my track on hillydilly.com or a site like that, my plays would explode but I haven't reached out to them.

I had alot of time to promote "futuristic flow". With work and other commitments, now i don't have that time as you can tell with my other beats. I think "free robin hood" has potential to get there at some point.

Totally different style, but if you're offering feedback: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 4&t=423683

Nice beats!

For a start, to me the most simplistic thing you could do is introduce some melodic changes to the background pad which is the same held note all the way though. Or turn it into a chord progression.

If youre going to play the main synth line through the whole tune overlay or change it to a different synth preset in a verse chorus type fashion.

Some dynamic changes wouldn't go amiss either.

Also, have some fun with effect automation.
