Zebra HZ and Korg Wavestation. Korg for classic synth sounds, and the Z for everything else. A close third are the Logic Pro X synths. But there are more than one in the group that stand out. Wait! Forgot Diva, Korg M1 and Bazille. Scrub all that. Zebra HZ FTW.

Hm, this one's too hard... do I get to keep all my hardware? That makes a huge difference because if so I'd go with... Absynth and Alchemy I guess. Two synths that do things none of my hardware synths do. Then I'd have to buy an FM hardware synth so I have at least one FM synth.
I can't even think of two of each category.

Totally cheating. And I was assuming we got to keep our samplers! (Ie. Kontakt) so no need to use a slot for that I hope!SODDI wrote:Kontakt and Reaktor.
Yeah, that's kind of cheating, isn't it?
Reaktor would be the obvious thing to keep but it begs the question, do we get the whole factory library and the user library? What about the ones that load in it but are sold separately like Monark and Razor. Probably not. I think a synth building environment can't really be considered a single synth.
Although I said Alchemy and Zebra before, I dunno. Having a hard time thinking of not having Diva. I think it would maybe replace Zebra. But then I need something with comb filters and a bit of the physical modelling type thing going on, as well as decent fm. But can't lose the granular. Hmmm, maybe Absynth instead of Alchemy... but it would be a shame not to have resynthesis.
So either Zebra and Alchemy or...
Diva and Absynth.
I guess.
Nah, can't do it. Need 3 synths.
