I never owned a Mac so i could just guess. There are multiple sources for waveforms including some synths that include waveform editors and could export WAV files like e.g. Diversion or Tone2 Nemesis.thetechnobear wrote:what options are there for mac users for creating waveforms?
(Ive got audio term running via crossover, but not figured it out yet)

also are there any good sources for waveforms?
Anyway you would still need a way to create a wavetable if you do not use e.g. Wavegenerator or Audio Term that bot hcould create compatible wavetables.
One is to use an audio editor like Wavelab (or the much cheaper Wavelab Elements version) to combine multiple waveforms in one WAV file that could be imported as a wavetable into Wavemapper 2 via the Analyzer/resynthesis.
For this as already mentioned the waveforms should not be to big, a good size seems to be 512 or 256 samples.
If you also got Serum you could try to create and export waveforms there or try to convert a Serum wavetable to a format that could be imported into Wavemapper 2 (e.g. 16-bit WAV file, waveforms at 512 samples).
