Taking that into consideration, if ms sees no problem with violating privacy now (including in windows 8/8.1), why would they make any real changes in the 10 release?. I think your concerns are more than justified. But fortunately, the preview policy is very different from MS normal policy, for some reason. I very, very much hope this doesn't carry over to Windows 10.
