The Live integration seems a pretty interesting move. And finally per-part effects.
Plus the support for volca/ms20/monotribe seems to reinforce their 'mini analog' focus.

KVR doesnt point out that there's also a sampler version:

No pricing yet, but they've traditionally always been around the £400 mark, havent they?

Yeah, I know what you mean; even though mine is the original ES-1 model and mostly just plastic the aluminium fascia made it feel rather solid and weighty.jacqueslacouth wrote:I do like the functionality as it has evolved but what a step back in build quality (unless I'm not seeing it right), for me one of the great appeals of the Electribes was their indestructible very metal feel.

I really like the look of these.
There's a photo on slutz of them being $550 retail but pre-order prices of $400. Not sure how accurate that is but if it's right £400 is probably about right here.
And I just bought Live too. So yay for me.

For me, this looks like product of the year (and its been a good year...), I have an OP-1 as I am a sucker for battery powered stuff that gives my iPad a rest! Also a live user, direct import will probably turn doodles in to songs (I will let you know, as they have just introduced Live export from their iPAD synth 'Gadgets' (and 2 more in app synths that look a bit like electribes :-0)
All in all, if these were for sale now, I would be reaching for my credit card.....pity I have read 2015 release...I hope that's wrong!!

iirc 2015 was for the sampler version. But still, I want it, and sync in/out makes me happy I snagged an Oplab for 15% off last year
$400 preorder, I'll take both Korg.

That is a very good price.
Difficult to judge at this stage, but these look like they have the potential to be 80% of an Elektron product at less than 1/3 the price.
