As the title says, i did 5 MP3s of those 4 Plugins, 1 Bypassed.
They are all properly Gain Staged before processing at Input.
6 Tracks, all plugins in default Mode except Redline Preamp,
i used the British Modern preset on all instances.
I just wanted to hear some feedback:

Would be interesting if the files were downloadable separately, so we could A/B them in a daw.

EDIT: Sorry for being dumb... They are separately downloadable...

Well, honestly, it's hard to judge by listening only to this short clip.

Anyway, in my opinion, Britson and Reelbus sound richer, specially in the high-end.

Steven Slate VTM and VCC added, with VCC on Neve Setting.

Good but why mp3? It's adding compression and reducing headroom.

Actually they are all 24 Bit Wave files.

Doesn't it have to be mp3 for soundcloud?

Anyways, a quick listen I like the slate best...........BUT that one seems louder to me.......so it could be that.

Always hard to tell in these tests.

Embedded comparison will be clouded by Soundcloud transcoding everything to 128 kbps mp3 for streaming. The original wavs should be available through the download option.

Right DB3. Hibi, Slate Sounds Louder yes, its just the way it is
but i don't know if it sounds better. So far best i like is Britson
and Redline Preamp, Satson and ReelBuss are too bright.

I was actually surprised at how ReelBus sounded, pretty good, but maybe it's hyping it too much.

I use Britson, and love the sound it imparts. But the Redline amp also sounded really good.

There is something about the Redline Preamp, it actually makes it sound
vintage, old, grungy, i don't know what other words to use, it warm,
it fits almost anywhere.

I know, I'm wondering if I'm trying to justify not having it :P

Anyone compare RoundTone to ReelBus? I enjoy Roundtone a lot, and was using ReelBus a bit before it.

OP would you be willing to email me the file you used so I can run it thru RoundTone, StripBus, and a few others as well?

And literally all I hear on the Slate one is a super hyped lo-end, and too much tape hiss LOL

Slate oil doesnt work on me, my Grandfather was famous for publicly shaming Slate Oil salesmen.

When I listen to something, what I hear is if there is any "pop" to it. I'll listen again in a minute to try and hear that hiss (which I obviously missed)
