Most natural real spaces reverb vst?

The sample recordings on their website sound amazing. The only thing putting me off is the iLok requirement.

Bummer. After intense testing the Pinguin impulses (also Ralph Kessler's ?) provided in the HDIR extra package for SIR2 sounds by far better, more natural sounding (maybe it's the SIR2 engine).
On the other side:
Quite on par with SIR2/HDIR extra combo is EAReverb as the best algo verb, when it comes to realistic spaces (sorry PhoenixVerb,Valhalla,Verberate etc.).

On Piano, drums, vocals, synths, nylon guitar, e-guitar...many reverbs do indeed sound very good, but I test reverbs mostly on acoustic steel string rhythmic guitar (imo most problematic intrument to apply reverb on) how it wraps around the instrument, sounds less metallic, needs almost no reverb equalization,feel of space...that's me who cannot understand why most people test reverbs just on drums

I have been using Vallhalla Room which to be honest I absolutely love for natural acoustic spaces. However, I'm a little out of touch with what us currently available and whether there is anything better at natural spaces than Vallhalla Room?

I will be using this reverb for classical vocal recordings and small instrumental ensembles.

Anything you would recommend me trying out?

I've heard demos of Reverberate and it sounds amazing for realistic algorithm verbs. For ultimate realism you would be best of checking out Altiverb which is convolution based and has TONS of realistic modelled spaces based on actual.. places (yes i just made a rhyme..)

I think you've demonstrated why it's a bad idea for companies making similar products to use similar names - this is Reverberate:

it's a brilliant convolution (non algo) based reverb that has been around for some time.

So why Acon chose to call their much more recent product Verberate is beyond me - it was bound to cause confusion - which it has.

Impulse responses will always have the capacity to reproduce more natural acoustic spaces.
Algorithmic reverbs generally sound less natural but sometimes that can be preferred.

Some reverb effects combine both technologies to allow more control over the space and needed fluctuation in the sound.

Listen to some of the Impulse Responses made from acoustic spaces, those are by far the most natural.

Yes, Virsyn Reflect is a good example of a hybrid reverb that can use impulse responses but also has a synthetic aspect allowing greater variation and movement while retaining natural character.

I find Verberate by Acon Digital to sound very nice and natural, definetely worth a try. Also, try some convolution reverbs.
