Hi all,
after almost one and a half year of development, SDRR - the big brother of the free IVGI, is finally released.
SDRR offers four different main modes: TUBE, DIGI, FUZZ, DESK, which have their own dedicated GUI each. Furthermore every mode has it's unique crosstalk behaviour, which can be switched of or exagerrated. A
unique RMS level difference metering mode makes level matching an easy task.
SDRR can be different things: a saturation, a compressor, an EQ, a bitcrusher, a subtle stereo widener, or simply add some movement to your tracks with the DRIFT control.
price: 22€ (intro)

Don't really need this but:
1. I'm sure it's sounds absolutely fabulous and the price is a steal.
2. I always like to support small developers.
3. The GUI is one sweet eyecandy.
I think I'll buy DC8C in some stage as well.

The thing is that you have 3 distortions mode as you might expect (tube, fuzz, digital), but the DESK mode can really do some magic and features compression, eq, enhancement... So it expands the sonic potential of the plugin even more (more on the subtle side), so don't overlook it

Shocked by the outrageous amount of presets and the uber eyecandy gui !

Is it me or there is a mistake at the page 4 of the manual, in the part concerning the Trebble knob of the "Desk" mode. The sentence is cut after "Cutting with the led on,".

I'll fix this later today. In the meantime here's the complete sentence:Endor-8o8 wrote:Is it me or there is a mistake at the page 4 of the manual, in the part concerning the Trebble knob of the "Desk" mode. The sentence is cut after "Cutting with the led on,".
"Cutting with the LED on, additionaly adds a mid range boost."

No need to demo this first - IVGI did all the PR needed to sell it to me.
