I hope to be able to send out the first beta of the big version of the saturation plug in about 3 days. It's been a long ride. But saturation is such an interesting topic, it's rather hard to stop. But I'm trying to convince myself to make this damn thing ready for a release. The good thing about creating plugins is, that new ideas and features can still be implemented later on in an update AFTER the initial release. In this regard it's beating producing songs, as it's rather unconventional to add a solo after the record's been released :)

True that !

Forgot to add : so it means that you have plans to add more saturation models in the future... We never have enough color to choose from ;).

Reminds me of TesslaPRO mkII. There are currently 5 saturation models in that one, but there is 5 others slots still empty and labelled as "reserved".

Saturation future is bright my friends !!!

My glorious leader! What news hails from Klanghelm?

That bastard Bonepart's sending in the saturation models. But we'll be ready for them, lads.

Are you talking about Napoleon or is this some slang word pun I don't get? :D

You know... In the age of digital distribution, we could actually do that. It's the music industry's fault we're not there, yet ;)

It's that time again :)

Tony has a "stay tuned for new products in 2014" sticker on his website. Anything that could be shared with the class?

But only on the products page...

Maybe we should think logical:
We got (in that order) a VU, a compressor, a saturator... what could be next FX wise?

Coffee machine.

Sorry, I'm really bad at guessing. I'd rather like to get some actual info.

I know that Tony said an EQ wasn't really that big a step from the one inside SDRR. A dedicated limiter/clipper might be in the cards.

The saturation research for SDRR might lend itself to a delay. Or a multimode filter. But so far, Tony has been talking about mixing/mastering only so speculation really doesn't help too much. :ud:

Well, I'd buy whatever he releases, except maybe a limiter/clipper  . And nobody really needs another EQ, but an EQ "Klanghelm-quality" with four different modes in one plugin, easy to use but also flexible, would be cool and an instant buy for me. But I also like the channel strip concept, so a pimped SDRR desk mode with more Compressor and EQ options would be fine with me.
But then 2014 has just begun, maybe we have to be patient for some more time...

Everything this guy puts out is "pure gold", IMHO.

Count me in for the next plugin ! It's all about the sound, and he delivers.

Since I didn't see an announcement - how's the new family member progressing?
