It has a Jarre-ish Oxygene IV (the chorus lead synth) feel that I would like to reproduce. I like your track very much!
Thanks. It's a very simple sound;

osc1 100% - 7 voice 1 oct unison saw, detune 500 density 500 wide 0
osc2 31% - noise ctrlA 530 ctrlB 0
500 release on amp env
filter infecto LP2 with envelope att 0 decay 500 sus 0 rel 500
phaser 4stage freq 534 fback 885 spread 0 rate 179 depth 569 wet 100

Phaser makes a lot of the sound really. Then there's the usual suspects, eq, reverb, delay.

The more I listen to Spire, the more I begin to like it.

I still won't buy it though when I have Zebra and a bunch of others. But if i was broke and needed my first Plugin synthesizer, you really can't go wrong with this.

I don't understand. Why would you buy it if you were broke or needing your first synth? Did you mean to say if you weren't broke?

Anyway...I can understand why hardcore synth geeks would desire a more complicated synth to play with. But Spire is the musicians choice for sure. Not since Sylenth has there been a synth like this.

A year ago people thought this was just a super-saw synth. :hihi:

In been in the works for some time.
The goal was to get some really lush pads, some thick, analog ARPs and bass as well as some head spinning atmospheres and FX.

The result is "Electronic Symphonic" for Spire.
Pre-release available with a nice intro discount.

Those are some great sounds Patch.
I definitely want those, when will they be available?
Here is another from "Electronic Symphonic" for Spire.

Wow... that is a seriously lush pad if ever I've heard one Patch. No doubt about it, Spire definitely does lush!

Lot's of fun creating sounds, will probably be over-using the phaser for a while now :).

Excellent track, really! I love the melody and the synths are very well done.

Did you use any external processing on the synth sounds?
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

Thanks, i never use in-built fx so theres the normal reverb (lexicon), delay (psp), eq (bx) and sidechain comp (mpressor). Some saturation possibly on the master.

I wonder if the update planned for summer 2014 will still happen at some point?

I really hope so...
