I have tried Studio One on my Surface Pro for possible mobile composition and it's a disaster at least as far as using the pen. Studio One freaks out if you try to hit a menu or with the pen to where you have to take it down. Bummer...

I kinda have the same problem, a touch enabled monitor under Windows 8.1 64bitInLight-Tone wrote:I have tried Studio One on my Surface Pro for possible mobile composition and it's a disaster at least as far as using the pen. and Studio One Pro V3 don't seem to get along.
What bothers me is having no quality assurance on a complex product like a daw
means they will exclusively target hobbyists and let die the pro market.
I can't afford to work with a product I can't get no support for.
My ticket is open and unresolved since 05.24.2015. https://vimeo.com/129319607
Currently I'm back to Cubase though I liked the fast slim workflow of S1,
however SysEx and a stable environment are more important to me.
btw, I found it doesn't matter whether you use one or three monitors, once a single
one of them is multi-touch enabled and you dare to touch it S1 won't forgive you

OK I like the dark theme but not for the midi editor but I can't see how to edit particular parts of the interface. I really want a lighter background but just for the midi editor.
