Would be nice if the ability to use the inputs on Retrologue to access the filter and fx for other tracks maintained stereo. The ability to use the inputs in this way was advertised as an upgrade feature but it's pretty useless if it's only mono... unless I'm doing something wrong.

I would be surprised if it didn't use standard amp to filter architecture where OSC are summed to a single filter. That would also include external sources hitting the filter. So I doubt you are doing it wrong. Just your expectations of a synth architecture may not align with the design.mitchiemasha wrote: ↑Fri Oct 08, 2021 2:02 pm Would be nice if the ability to use the inputs on Retrologue to access the filter and fx for other tracks maintained stereo. Love it! Would you share this patch? Did you use the Resonator to get the vocal quality?e-crooner wrote: ↑Wed Nov 25, 2020 10:48 pm Was just trying to program a voice pad, Fairlight type...

Surely the filter remains in stereo for the synth. Otherwise any stereo widening done in the sound design in the synth prior the filter would be lost once we ran into it.SJ_Digriz wrote: ↑Fri Oct 08, 2021 5:03 pmI would be surprised if it didn't use standard amp to filter architecture where OSC are summed to a single filter. Sorry for the late reply Haven't been here in months...
I don't think one can resize the GUI in a direct way, I wish one could. But I think it resizes automatically depending on certain system settings. Not sure how that works, though.

Thanks, it was rather rough back then, my first attempts. I have refined it since then...Examigan wrote: ↑Fri Oct 08, 2021 1:52 pmI just listened to this (finally), sounds great!e-crooner wrote: ↑Wed Nov 25, 2020 10:48 pm Was just trying to program a voice pad, Fairlight type...

Which "rack" do you mean? In Ableton Live, I can insert any number of Retrologue instances in the instrument rack (VST3).

I really like the layout and gui of Retrologue 2. A bit small, though. Any more subtractive synths like this? Layout wise?
