Looks like Charlatan3 is Windows and Linux only sadly.

Ah, that sucks. I didn't fully read the first C3 post (or skipped a bit), but he does explain why.

I still think it's too early for Z3, though.

I hope not. It is not ready for prime time, IMO. If you've tried the beta then you'll know what I mean; there are quite a few bugs and it is very cpu hungry when using the additive engine. When it has received a bit of TLC from the devs however, I'd love to see it in OSC - it amazingly powerful.

Charlatan3 is also in beta but a lot more stable and might be a better choice in the short-term?
Ah i see, thanks. I prefer stable synths so yeah.
Charlatan3 is in beta? I gotta try that. Thanks.

I agree with NeverBeenInARiot here. As much as I want to play with zeebralette3 myself I'd prefer to wait a little for cpu use and biggest bug to be ironed before it goes to OSC synth of the month.
Will make our experience less frustrating, being able to use the really new features it brings to the table, ie the additive engine wich actually a lot of us won't be able with current state, as it's not optimised yet.
I don't think Uhe is lacking feedback either.

I'd love another hybrid round like we had with bucket pops and bucket one / synful & vco2 etc. although its not really one synth challenge is it?!

I'd be happy to make sample packs for drums etc. e.g. Sample pack & Zebralette 3 :)

empphryio wrote: Fri Apr 19, 2024 10:29 am I'm making a public soundcloud list of everyone's personal top 3 entries. That is to say, your own three favorite tracks that you entered. If anyone would want to share theirs, that'd be great. I guess it might clutter up this thread. So perhaps put it here in the OSC general discussion thread?

That jazzy house broken beat track that you made and then deleted was amazing, hope you reupload - had a blast jamming to it with the infamous Roland Jazz Scat preset
