Some of these where made as far back as December '97

Poise VSTi drum sampler isn't free but it's only 50 dollars I believe. And it's really powerful.
There's a support forum here at KVR for it also under OneSmallClue. http://OneSmallClue.com

Anyways, load it up with freeware one-shot drums and you can really mix and match and tweak them reall well.
