Well, that is awesome, it has been a long time in the making

64 bit SE creates both VST2 and VST3; you just change the extension on the file from .vst3 to .dll.Ichad.c wrote:It's been a long work in progress, still some bugs to be sorted out, but 3 major bugs last I checked. P.S. 64bit is only VST3 btw.
KX mentions it in the thread you linked to: "If your DAW does not support VST3, change the extension of the plugin *.vst3 by *.dll (VST2)".

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that, but it's not 100% VST2, you're stuck with some of the limitations of the VST3 standard, specifically in the MIDI department. Not a big deal for 99% of plug-ins though.chuck death wrote:64 bit SE creates both VST2 and VST3; you just change the extension on the file from .vst3 to .dll.Ichad.c wrote:It's been a long work in progress, still some bugs to be sorted out, but 3 major bugs last I checked. Synthedit 1.3 exports 64 bit VST2 and VST3 just fine on its own. There's no need to change any file extensions.
