On that we agree.

Or perhaps buy a real instrument, of any description, and learn how to play it.

This honestly reads like the laziest possible approach to music that I have ever heard.

And - why would I want to listen to music by AI, when I can listen to music from people.

making music is like making sweet, sweet love.
it doesn't always go well, but when it does it's magical!!

you gonna let a robot do that too?

AI isn't a shortcut to getting good at making music.

Hell, there are no shortcuts to getting good at making music. Get a DAW and get producin'.
My solo projects:
Hekkräiser (experimental) | MFG38 (electronic/soundtrack) | The Santtu Pesonen Project (metal/prog)

I'm really not a fan of where all this might be leading, but then again, I'm sure I heard a lot of these arguments being made against synthesisers and drum machines not that many decades ago...

Dear Sir/Madam,

It is with great pleasure that I have read your message and I must say that your inquiry about the utilization of Artificial Intelligence in music production is not only intriguing, but also shows your forward thinking approach to the ever-changing landscape of the music industry. As you have mentioned, the world of music production has transformed greatly over the years with the advent of new technologies, and AI has emerged as a powerful tool that has enabled musicians to create and produce music in innovative ways.

As you may be aware, music production is a highly complex process that requires a great deal of skill, knowledge, and experience. In the past, only a select few had the resources and opportunities to hone their craft and make a name for themselves in the industry. However, with the advent of AI-powered music production tools, the barriers to entry have been significantly lowered, allowing aspiring musicians like yourself to create high-quality music with relative ease and affordability.

One of the key benefits of AI-powered music production tools is their ability to streamline the creative process. With AI, you no longer need to spend countless hours learning complex software or studying music theory to create great-sounding tracks. Instead, you can use intuitive tools that utilize AI algorithms to generate melodic patterns, harmonies, and even entire arrangements, allowing you to focus on the more creative aspects of music production.

Moreover, AI-powered music production tools can also help you to explore new genres and styles of music, enabling you to experiment with different sounds and ideas that you may not have considered otherwise. By doing so, you can broaden your creative horizons and produce music that is both unique and fresh, setting you apart from the competition.

Of course, it is important to note that while AI-powered music production tools can be highly effective, they are not a substitute for human creativity and skill. Rather, they are a tool that can assist you in your creative endeavors, allowing you to focus on the aspects of music production that you are passionate about.

In conclusion, I would like to commend you for your forward-thinking approach to music production, and encourage you to explore the possibilities that AI-powered music production tools can offer. With their intuitive interfaces, streamlined workflows, and powerful AI algorithms, these tools can help you to create high-quality music that is both innovative and unique, and ultimately establish yourself as a successful music producer on platforms like YouTube and beyond.

Yours sincerely,

ChatGPT
