sounds to me like an 808 kick with a long decay, pitching down as it goes.

I'm getting the impression that I might need to see that video to properly appreciate the song. 
So far, I've only heard that short, online demo clip. It just didn't impress me a whole lot. The vocals have a certain childish, taunting, "schoolyard rant" quality which just doesn't appeal to me. When I was a kid, I most usually heard that tone of voice coming from some half-witted bully, who was trying to start a fight (or trying to put on a good show, hoping they wouldn't have to actually fight, showing everyone what a wimp they really were.)
Then again, that's all just my personal taste. If you fellows like the song, that's fine with me.
I just realized that I've lost far too much sleep recently, and I'm probably not making much sense at this point.

Maybe she should fall in love with the drummer of No Doubt this time...have some interesting shit happen to her before releasing an album.
