And by removing the lamp only for 24dB, it serves as a kind of alert - "lamps = something is happening."
Have you ever experienced a situation where you felt something was different in the sound, only to realize later that the slope was set to 12dB? I believe missing lamps can be effective in reducing the occurrence of such situations. (This is also why I avoid using a simple dropdown menu for filter options—dropdown is least noticeable in state differences.)
OK I will serve alternative images that users can manually replace with, maybe along with some other options like different color wood panel, monochrome background etc
