It has unwanted loop point though, you can use it.
It's WAV. (or may be AIFF on mac)
Oh, I found the samples at least. Will try to make some use of them :tu:

You will want MPC Studio as soon as you used MPC Essential and MPD.

REC, OVERDUB, PLAY, PLAY START, ERASE, 16 LEVELS etc.. very different workflow.
Especially Transport Buttons and real time Erase with the PADs are useful.
With MPC Studio, you almost don't need mouse.

If you use MPC software or Essential with MPD, other DAW is better.
LOL I get what you mean. I just tried the MPC Software demo and I'm like "dayum... I'm about to downgrade to 1 track!!". I can imagine having access to all the transport controls & etc would be a HUGE improvement. Back in the days when I started, I had a Boss Drum DR5 & a 660, and I miss that mouselss quick workflow, even with their limitations.

I'll be using the MPC Essentials with Reaper, so it's not the easiest or best solution, but it will take care of my beat sequencing needs. I just found out about a little program for Reaper called Sower that does beat sequencing as well inside of Reaper's midi tracks. So having the 2 will be a good cheap solution... until Christmas lol.
I read more than post = I listen more than I talk
