Antares strategy:

1) Absourd prices
2) Worse upgrade prices
3) Discounted prices that are higher than what should normally be
4) Write their news on forums, but never reply to people

This means to me "we want your money and don't give a ***** about customers"

Fortunatly there are not just very good alternative but stuff that perform even better that comes at lower prices and better business model

Hooold on a minute, maybe we've read this all wrong.

Maybe this ludicrous pricing scheme and broken versions is an attempt to stop folks using it, so we can go back to NOT perfectly tuned vocals, which I kind of miss.
