Probably the same as Morph2. From the Morph2 manual..

"1) Create two audio tracks to play back the audio files you want to morph between, and
place your audio files on them

2) Set track #2 to “no output”

3) Insert MORPH 2 on track #1 by dragging it from the device browser to the track

4) Select track #2 as sidechain input by first clicking on the “assign side chain” button!

5) Then select Track # 2 as sidechain source"

The manual has screenshots for each step, so if you can't figure it out download the manual. If you can't get that, send me a PM with your email address and I'll send you the Morph2 manual.

Thanks, this is the cumbersome way to do it, but I'm pretty sure there's a much easier way to set up Morph in BW. It's been a while since I last used Morph 2, but I'm sure I only used a single track and could still morph between two synths, eliminating the need for audio tracks altogether.

What's going on with the pricing? USD 169/EUR 179* versus USD 149/EUR 169*? Why does the upgrade show double the difference between USD and EUR prices even though the price is lower? Are the prices randomized?
MORPH 3 and MORPH 3 PRO will be available from the Zynaptiq website and authorized resellers worldwide April 15th, 2024, at an SRP of USD 169/EUR 179* (MORPH 3) or USD 279/EUR 309* (MORPH 3 PRO).

Users of MORPH 2 will be able to upgrade to MORPH 3 or MORPH 3 PRO at a reduced price of USD 69/EUR 79* (MORPH 3) or USD 149/EUR 169* (MORPH 3 PRO) via the Zynaptiq website starting April 15th, 2024.
Looks good but I'm not paying 180€ for an upgrade...

Sometimes their marketing strategies leave me scratching my head. $150 for an upgrade? lol.

Nice. Are you finding the morphing process easier or better quality in the new version than Morph2?

Apparently getting it to sound right in Kyma also requires alot of work which is something I wasn't aware of.

Yes, more versatile, less artifacts (unless that's what you're going for) and interesting/useful new algorithms, also the on board sample player is quite interesting, especially in spectral mode which is of course very CPU hungry. It so depends on the audio sources though, so Morph can sound anything from surreal/fascinating/pristine to terrible/gurgling/garbled/shitty.

@ Sampleconstruct. Thanks for that. Yes, it certainly needs time spent to get the kind of sounds I've been looking for, I usually don't morph but find a static point that sounds good.

I'm sure this is a really cool update. A bit pricey for how often I ended up using morph 2. I am a big fan of any strange spectral manipulation of sounds though. How is the cpu in the v3 pro update? I'm guessing my newer computers can run morph 2 way better than when it was released, but it's not on the laptop I've been using for the past 6 months.

Morph 3 has TWO I-Lok activations.
Sorry, just for clarify: new upgrade does change (in ilok) v2 license to v2.6 (not v3), but it will allow to run v3 (and v2). Correct ?

the other way around:
you buy V3,
you upgrade V2 to V2.6,
when you install V3 will your V2 license be erased,
at the same time is the V2.6 license rearranged => and now coupled to your V3 license.
=> you only possess one Morph license = V3
