I'm trying to find the ultimate vst host to run as part of a live rig.
I love the features of PW so far, but can't figure out how to get my midi clock (being sent from a MPC1000) to sync some of my vst's in PW.
Am I missing something? or does PW not support an external clock yet?

PatchWork indeed does not have the option to sync with an external clock yet.

Any update on this? Does the newly updated PW sync to incoming MIDI clock?

We have started exploring this topic, but it has not been implemented yet. That's quite a bit of work. But definitely a very useful feature, especially now that you can have multiple instances of the app communicate thru the network!

Hi,

I'm trying to recode a MidiFX Midi Sequencer to work with Patchwork and struggling to work out what to sync to for timing - for example; in Logic I an use PPQ information from the host timeline, and as a Standalone create my own PPQ equivalent - what does Patchwork generate for sync purposes when running..

If you are in a plug-in you can use the transport information for that: it is transmitted to all plug-ins formats.
