A few years ago I was lucky to be in a home studio of a well know artist, by then he was well into is 70's, that guy was a mellotron user many decades ago when they came by.
Now into his 80's, he is still doing a great show using a cheap digital piano ( Actually, the same digital piano he was using when we met some time ago when he was into his 70's ).
Still, he has religious beliefs in analog equipment, and in his home studio he only has analog hardware.
To this day, I still wonder... What has upsetted him most? The hardware problems in that mellotron or some software incompatibility he came across during the 21st century?
Never had the chance to ask him that.

Getting a code-signing certificate for Windows from such companies like Sectigo is a real nightmare.Aleksey Vaneev wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2023 2:48 pm But yes, the notarization is evil. But Apple is not alone - Microsoft now also aggressively checks code-signing certificates. Thanks to all the hacker idiots.
After instantly taking my money the whole validation process took over one month.
Parts of it are done by another outscourced company and their employees seem to be vacation during the holidays. Noone knows what the other empolyee does. I had to deal with complete ideots in some call center (in India?). They let me run in circles and jump through hoops again and again. After some weeks I escalated the issue.
After this Sectigo submitted a broken certificate. Then I had to use the Internet Explorer (!) to download it. After this I needed to install opel SSL to fix the broken certificate.

You just have to do exactly what they ask for, any suggestions you make, no matter how reasonable are rejected.
Anyway, after the Sectigo headache was over, it's just a matter of putting the signature into Inno Setup and just forgetting about it... until 3 years time. At which point the the so called trust in you is wiped clean until you have enough downloads again. I was originally told that wasn't the case, but it appears to be so, with the EV signing anyway.

Officially - 10.13
Unofficially - 10.9 (ARC is broken, but if you do manually memory management in your Objective-C it will still link)

If "installation" means `copying some files` then the answer is: never.
Running? Try running some 32 bits thing on a full 64 bits env without resorting to a bridge.
We are the KVR collective. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.
