The workflow in Acoustica Premium must be improved in order to replace RX

Acoustica Premium is already a great tool and it outperforms RX in many aspects.
However there should be something improved in order to fasten the workflow:

1. When transfer audio from Pro Tools to Acoustica, the focus window should be automatically switched to the Acoustica (without manually switching to Acoustica window)
2. The "Show Spectrogram of the recording" should be selectable as default state and not changing on the next work.
3. Retouch methode, Retouch Strength and other tools should be remembered and not changing to default each time the new audio is imported.
4. There should be an Instant Process option for applying the same tool algorithm to different areas (without pressing the arrow button each time)
5. After hitting Render, the audio doesn't live anymore in Acoustica, either undo is working. It must stay in Acoustica if we change our mind.

Maybe implementing this functionality in a next update is not very complicated?

Unfortunately, macOS prevents this. The Windows version switches focus, but Apple has prevented this to prevent abuse (which is understandable, although unfortunate for us).

2. The "Show Spectrogram of the recording" should be selectable as default state and not changing on the next work.

We plan to change this logic in version 8. Waveform / Spectrogram along with current tool settings will be global for all clips and persistent.

3. Retouch methode, Retouch Strength and other tools should be remembered and not changing to default each time the new audio is imported.

We'll change this as well in version 8 and make them global and persistent settings.

4. There should be an Instant Process option for applying the same tool algorithm to different areas (without pressing the arrow button each time)

We didn't have this on the list, but it's a good idea and we'll consider it.

5. After hitting Render, the audio doesn't live anymore in Acoustica, either undo is working. It must stay in Acoustica if we change our mind.

Hopefully, we'll get Acoustica ARA to work in Pro Tools soon, so that we don't need the Transfer tool anymore. We'll await the situation and see. It's still a long way to Acoustica 8, and hopefully, AVID has opened up the standard by then.
