Hi guys,

I'm messing around with the Vice demo.

So far, pretty nice, apart from the lack of pen tablet support!

But one question: on the right, below the slice view, there's a little wave icon.

If i drag that to my DAW (Cubase), it exports the slice to the audio track. Pretty nice! However, the audio file that appears in my DAW has a lower pitch than when i trigger the slice in Vice.

Strangely, i'm only getting this behavior when i am using a drum loop that i dragged into the slice window myself.

If i use one of the presets, the slice exports at the correct pitch.

Any ideas? ......... Thanks!

EDIT: actually, one other little gripe: i really don't understand why plugin makers give their instruments such crappy envelopes. The Vice envelopes don't even have sustain and release controls and you can't change the curve slopes. Vice would be so much more useful with decent envelopes. Perhaps it was too CPU intensive to provide so many good mseg envelopes, but maybe they could at least give the option to turn on good envelopes for selected slices when needed?!
