Sorry, little nit-pick; the label at start - should be v3.9 beta25..?BluGenes wrote: ↑Sun Aug 02, 2020 12:16 pm Supplemental Video on Structures at the Composition Level..

Hey all, this is an audio test video.. I tweaked my setup a little bit and just wanted feed back on this..
I am planning on a re-do of the user guide videos once version 4 of RC is released. Which is going to be a major project.
Creating the series is a process unlike anything I have ever experienced. There is a lot of repetition, so, creating templates, and such, and getting the settings right, is important. The work flow I developed works for me, so, recording and editing is pretty quick..
So, as long as the software I use doesn't break, (ahem RC), (lol), I think I am ready for the ride..
All feed back welcome, good and bad..

I had already viewed that video, and didn't see any answer to my question, which is why I'm asking. In the non-beta version of RapidComposer, there's a way of adding a new, empty, line either before or after a selected line (the interface pops up two plus signs, and you choose the appropriate one). But in the beta, I only see a way of duplicating an existing line (with all it contains). So,how do you add a new, empty, line?

in the inspector when you hover mouse over to the Part/Line area
you should see the X and +

Yes, I see the duplicate (plus sign) icon. But that means that continue a composition by adding a new empty line, I have to duplicate an existing line -- with everything that it contains, which may be a lot -- then delete everything in the duplicated line, before I can carry on with the new, empty line. It would seem like a clumsy way of working, compared with how the current non-beta interface works.
