It would be great if ToolChain could be released as a VST3 for macOS. My main DAW, Bitwig, doesn't support Audio Units, so I cannot easily use it at the moment. I know that FUSE can generate VST3s on macOS, so I'm hoping this wouldn't be a problem.
Bitwig 5.2 beta 1 + Akai MIDIMix + Launchpad X + Presonus Studio One Pro 6.6

I just happened to mention engineer's filter to someone and through I'd go drop an offer to help port it to Mac, but then noticed ToolChain is available! Great, I thought! But, sadly I don't use AU - only VST2/3. If there's any assistance we can give, you Robin, please don't hesitate to ask!
