Is this a compressor and an EQ?

Hi,

It's a dual compressor, input in 1 compressor to the next.

It does not have an actual eq built in, just low cut which cuts lows to a certain degree, then tighten knob that filters some of the muddy frequency in vocals, bass which turns up bass in vocals and crispy which gives a form of sparkle "highs" to the vocal.

But I will let you know, it helps vocals sound good! Give it a test once!

Good Job Jhudstudio, It's about time you thought about raising the price! You were pretty much giving the plugin away for only $9.99. Still don't know why. Anyways...

I see it still on sale for only a very short time. People would be crazy not to buy this for vocals. I used to use this free version which is still free but can't be used on mac or 64bit, only 32bit windows. Oh boy I was happy when I could get this for mac!

It even matches waves vocal plugs, just without the reverb and delay. Cpu efficient too.

Edit: I forgot to mention, don't just believe me, read what others said on the links he posted above.

Sounds very promising. Would indeed be interesting to compare this to the Waves Signature Vocals plugins, as some have already suggested that Vocal King rules, so it appears a new Klanghelm is born. Always good to see small developers rise and shine.

Tested and approved. Compared to dedicated Waves vocals plugins like Greg Wells, Butch Vig, CLA, and JJP, EddieTX liked the Vocal King as much or better than any of them, could easily get a very present, clear, and solid vocal that sounded very good in a mix. Also easy on the CPU, while those Waves Signature plugins are heavyweights.

I see a lot of mentions just 2 weeks ago saying great deal for 10 bucks but if I click the pay pal button it says 29.99 US. Was there a promotion two weeks ago ? Any audio demos or just have to download a trial?

@AudioBomb, Thanks for the feedback. I was selling at $9.99 as a promo price. Now the price is up. I had put it up to $29.99 at first but when I thought about it, I would rather have happy customers who want to use the Vocal King but can't afford paying too much. $19.99 is a fair medium for the customers and myself.

@Fleer, Thanks for the feedback too. I spent many hours with trial and error trying to design the Vocal King. I wanted something that could make even low quality microphones sound expensive and great sounding. I also wanted it to be low on cpu.

Now I have high respect for waves. I love many of the older model plugins they have. TrueVerb and Doubler are just some of my favorites. The only issue I have with them now days is the fact that most of their new plugins are so high on cpu. Price also hurts, but worth it if you found what your looking for.

Honesty, I knew that I was designing the Vocal King to be powerful, however, I never thought people would like it even more than the waves vocal plugins. Cool Stuff!

$20 this is a steal, I am very very tight with money on plugins, this plugin i would happily have paid the $30.
It does great stuff on vocals but also can work on breakbeats too

See Jay, I told you were selling yourself cheap.

But from the post above, I respect your decision for selling it at a cheaper price for lower income people. Back before I had my first job, there were plenty of plugs i wanted to buy that I could not afford. Even with my current job its hard for me to buy expensive plugs.

Where in the world is your marketing? I will be honest with you, I saw it on a few forums but no youtube video, searching vocal plugin comes up with every one else plugins but yours. How do you expect people to find your product? Most people don't even know about this gem. I would suggest audio examples, youtube videos, maybe paid advertisements. Get yourself out there.

lol. No but seriously I am not worried about it. Setting it at $20 helps the customer save money and I could if I wanted to put the price higher later on.

Marketing will be at some point along with youtube videos.
