If anyone had the choice in these eventide plugins which would you choose.
- H910
- H3000
- OCTAVOX
I would love to have all three but I can't justify it

There are two H3000 plugins, Band Delays and Factory. Which one do you mean?djmino02 wrote:Nice! I need to lookin to izotope plugins

i have a few of their plug ins (discord3 and fuzzplus). i just wish they had more useable presets and less heavy handed ones. the one i have that is eventidesque is discord3 plugin.hivkorn wrote:audio damage will cover nearly all your need.
any others of theirs that are highly recommended?
also, from what i've gathered on eventide plugins the octavox is so far the most useable to my ears. i like the 910 too. the h3000 would be much better if it had all the presets from the d/se and 3500

H3000 factory is one of the greatest plugin. On the cheap side you might want to check out TkDelay and Sandman the delay version of Fault. For distortion check out Indent the little brother of Dent, which is truly great for the price. The other best value plugin is Permut8, it has so many great features with new firmware every year, with Sonic Charge quality. It's like owning many plugins in one.

For really high quality 64-bit freeware check out the offerings from:
Voxengo http://www.voxengo.com/group/free-vst-plugins/
MeldaProductions https://www.meldaproduction.com/product ... yword=free
TDR http://www.tokyodawn.net/tokyo-dawn-labs/
Signal Dust http://www.signaldust.com/plugins.html
You should be able to build a pretty complete set just from these sources, and both Melda and TDR offer very reasonably priced upgrades that open up more features in the plugins.

Really and truly, that's hardly a challenge. Because something doesn't cost anything doesn't magically make it lesser than something you have to pay for. I could do all my professional work - easily - with only free plugins. Doesn't impress clients though lol. Early on I was pretty much only working with free plugins anyway.Mathematics wrote:I have a friend thatI challenged myself to mix with free plugins

I missed your post while I was editing my previous one. I kind of edited a lot out because it became long and I think I might use that for another topic elsewhere.
Anyway, I have argued for years, that free plugins are more than fine. In fact, stock plugins are all I really use anyway...in Pro Tools and Digital Performer. Previously, when I mentioned about challenging myself (but edited the post dramatically while switching to another computer to finish the reply), the goal was to see the sonic differences, which there were obviously. For instance, there is no free plugin that comes close to the J37...try to prove me wrong. Another paid plugin that has no match is LoAir...again, try to prove me wrong. Izotope RX, RennMax bundle,...the list goes on. These are specialty plugins for the more experienced user, I'd say, but the things they can do to a mix or sound design, is unmatched.

And of course, if you can use 32bits, almost every single damn Variety of Sound plugin is worth it and can compare easily with commercial ones. After all, one of these won the 2012 KVR challenge.
And toneBoosters has great plugins. So much so that I bought nearly all of them.

Is it OK to recommend my own products?I'm on the hunt for free or cheap stereo effect plugins.
This is very much a stereo effect, both free and cheap: https://www.auburnsounds.com/products/Panagement.html
(I'm working on the macOS Sierra fix)
Checkout our VST3/VST2/AU/AAX/LV2:
