sorry to trouble you with a silly question
I am not a musician but I just love the sound of old analog synths
so with arturi v collection and bit wig I can make some nice music
as I am not very good on keyboards I like to make little clips and
scenes and use them to record my song in to the arranger
but trying to click with the mouse to launch clips is very difficult
so my question is this. If I buy the Launchpad pro and use your script
will I be able to just press the pads and launch individual clips and scenes
and also stop individual clips and scenes while I am recording in to the arranger
all the other stuff your script does is most likely to complicated for me
so I just need the basic clip start and stop
will your script do what I need in the Launchpad pro?

I already have a Arturi keylap 25 with faders to control bitwig
I just want a 64 pad controller that the pads light up with the same colour as the clips
and be able to launch clips and scenes and also stop them by pressing a pad
while I am recording in to the arranger.
I was looking at push 2, but that is way more than I need with my limited musical
ability.
Then I came across Launchpad pro and that seemed to do everything I wanted
I just want to make sure it does, with the script from moss
before I buy it
if you think the Akai controller would be easer for me than the Launchpad
can you tell me why it would be a better choice for me
this is all getting a bit confusing for a novice
but I have so much fun with bitwig that I am will to persevere, and learn

Got both push-1 and launchpad.
Why both? I like to map my VST to the knobs of push-1 just for ones, and never have to assign them again.
And have visual number on the display and can tweak for instance compressors with 2 hands.
And i like the size of my launchpad and push. im not that of a keyboard player myself so no big keys here.
And everything at hand.
