I dislike virtual things that cease to be available. No disrespect for the creator, but making it not exist anymore seems pretty arbitrary to me.cosmosis wrote:I like Loopazoide:

Mobius is hands down the king of audio loopers. Once you get that set up with a midi controller it's a dream. Think of something and there's probably a way to set it up and a community of very smart users and developer to help you.Tony Ostinato wrote:full blown would be mobius
simple would be angstrolooper.
I used to use Angstrolooper a lot, but now that Live has Looper, I use that instead. A little more functionality and I love that Looper lets my first loop length set the tempo of the track. This way I can totally do an ambient loop and then slowly bring in drum tracks or whatever. I also love that I can just drag the loop into a track and further manipulate it. If you're heavily into loopers like I am, I think Ableton Live is your best choice for DAW.
I also use Augustus Loop a lot. Much more like using an old tape machine set up to loop. Great as a delay or looper.

WOW ancient thread.
I'm interested in this now. Has there been any progress on this front?

I've seen frosting!! It's not a full-featured looping thing, but it looks very interesting and I'm probably gonna get it at some point!

Instalooper is pretty cool and free as well. You have to automate
switching the loops on and off. Funstuff though... And 64 bit...

I'm afraid you'll have to add LoopRecorder too!

Cool to see Frosting mentioned here! Yes it's not a fully featured looper, since it's focusing more on very short loops and messing/slicing things up, but it can be used to do classic looping, you don't need overdubs.
