This track by Visage is great. Has this bass synth/arp in it which drives it. Im trying to track the synthesizer with this sound. Im not familiar with classic synths, they could've run (what ever it is) through distortion of some kind. Just sounds a little too clean for that though.

The song was recorded in 1980, so based on that alone Ive narrowed it down to..
Arp Odyssey
Mini Moog
Yamaha cs80
OBX
Prophet 5
Jupiter 4

Have you heard it in any of these or vst emulators of these synths?

No idea... its such a basic sound that it really could have been any of the above. I'm inclined to say it sounds more like a 2-pole filter, which would narrow it down a bit, but then again, what do I know? Great song though!
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.

I just thought Id conclude this post with a solution, just in case someone stumbled over it and was seeking the same remedy.

The forum above suggested it was a polymoog. Not sure about that but I found an identical in the Korg Monopoly.Monopoly was released in 1981 after this was recorded so it may have been polymoog.
There are several presets in monopoly though that match in bank B. I used 2 (a bass and lead), presets 28/29 Korg Legacy with some drive and comb filter.

Dig it! and they're just playing octaves in 8ths, BUT there's a subtle automation groove goin' on wit the volume. Like dis:
