Looks like the Lite version only goes down to D1, as opposed to B0 for the full version. Can someone please tell me where D1 is on the bass guitar (sorry, not a bass player)? In other words, how many notes/frets on a bass guitar is the lite version missing?

E1 is the lowest string on a regular 4-string bass, unless I'm mistaken.

I think guitarists call this Drop D so you can play fifths with one finger .

Can you force the free version to play G on a D string as opposed to open G on the G string? For that matter can you force the paid version to do the same?
